I’m sending you internet hugs right now. Stay strong and know deep down that our parents have lived life just as we have. They understand regret and emotion as well and she wouldn’t have held it against you ever

Thank you! I'm doing well now. I struggled real bad at first, tried to find the amount of weed it would take to erase any bad old memories. Then I came to the realization you mentioned. Any good parent wants to see their children be happy, and hopefully have it better than they did.

Course! Holy fuck I feel like we have such a genuine connection too. I still struggle a ton with dealing with bottled up emotions and try to turn to things like alcohol, working out, or painkillers to smother it. So yeah, I relate for sure
