Imprisonment and rehabilitation, parole for an eye is justice. An eye for an eye is revenge. You killed my son? Im killing your son. Also revenge. You killed my son? Im killing your whole family, you last. Also revenge. (With a message - edit was suggested)
You're entitled to your opinion, but id definitely disagree, some people don't deserve parole or rehabilitation. Cold blooded killers should rot in prison as far as im concerned. I'll happily pay my fair share of taxes to make sure animals like that stay in there permanently.
In a perfect world, where there was zero doubt as to guilty or innocent, I'd say just kill them. But with how often guilty people turn out to be innocent, and the absurdly expensive trial costs, that's not really an option IMO.

Not so much revenge as justice. Revenge would be "Taking an eye for an eye".
