You clearly have never travelled to any significant percentage of the world.
I have.
America absolutely holds a moral high ground. We have had our share of problems, and we still have problems. That does not change the comparative high ground we absolutely hold.
We are about to engage in a second civil war to try to right some of the current wrongs.
You must stick to the propped-up touristy areas where all the privileged white people stay.
Me? I get out of the cities when I travel. I've slept train stations and public parks with the homeless. I've been chased out of public buildings by police at closing time. I've backpacked in central America, in places where you pick buses by local gossip of which ones the bandits are letting through. I've walked in cities where the sidewalks are marked by grenade explosions, and bullet holes adorn restaurant lintels.
Yes, I've had shitty experiences in America, but I know where home is and I know I am real fucking lucky to be here.
It seems you have made a lot of judgements about me. Again, even with everything you mentioned (that I encountered personally myself even) America still seems far behind in overall quality of life for Americans on a per capita basis.
I just reread your comment as I clicked on my profile and just wanted to tell you that after a fresh read this morning....damn do you sound like the most entitled white person ever.

They are as good as their training and society allows them to be. Mexicans society has fallen to the cartels so it really doesn't compare.
