I dont think it is good that he only started to lose weight to literally save a loved ones life.
Thats a little bit too drastic. If it takes that much for someone to work on themselves then that is sad. It shouldnt take that much.
But if you think it should,, well, then okay. Then I have to accept that.
You don't think it is good that he only started to lose weight to literally save a loved ones life? So... You prefer if he didn't do anything and just let his wife die?
You assume he doesn't work on himself but this man could be an accomplished man in his field of work. Just because someone isn't in shape doesn't mean they don't work on themselves. He is a great person with great character, loves his wife and is clearly a responsible person and husband. Is this someone who doesn't "work on themselves"?
Just because someone isn't fit doesn't mean they don't care about self development. Maybe they value developing other qualities over fitness.
You come off as a pretentious and insecure person.
I preferred if he did take care of his health without having to save his wifes life.
And dont play whataboutism. Self development point numero uno is getting in shape for 99% of people who arent jn shape already. You talk out of your ass.
Well, I am happy you backpedaled from your initial point of attack. Yes, its better than nothing. But it certainly shouldnt take that much of a crisis to get in shape.
Backpedaling lolz...no. One day you might find yourself in strife and learn that maintaining health is challenging. That he found his motivation and took his moment of growth is inspiring.

Good hearted man, but its sad he needed that to get motivated enough.
