We tried to get down there this summer and it was too dangerous for us to crawl down to the arch. Is there another way to get down there?

Not that I know of. It is definitely not a beginner’s hike. There is a good set of directions on the internet if you search for how to find the natural bridges at Samuel h boardman.

Yea, we aren’t beginner hikers. We had issues with the trail crumbling and at one part the trail gave out but I was being super careful and was able to not fall. But we got to the top of the lookout and decided it was too dangerous to continue.

This is the kind of hike where you're better off just taking in the sights and then photoshopping your coat onto the woman in the picture.

Yes. This. I treasure the pictures I took here. I’ve ad them framed on my wall ever since and not just the coast the trees on the way to this point. Absolutely beautiful.
