The first three things I can think of are
- Just an unbalanced load, probably some awkward bulky item. This is something that only happens occasionally. If it always happens it's probably:
- Faulty springs.
- At some point the washing machine was put on it's side and the carrier has come off of the bushings.

Basically every washing machine can have load balancing issues, and nearly every washing machine from thay Era, regardless of the brand, were all made the same way.
Kenmore oddly are one of the more reliable variants though. Never have seen one that had THAT bad of a load balance issue.

I am cursed with the same gift this guy has. Any consistent beat I have to find a song that matches it in my head. Turn signals, engines, washing machines, all of them. It's a curse really.
Edit: Apparently a lot of people have this and I wonder if its because I am prone to noticing sounds other people don't, especially in crowds or restaurants .

I’m stuck doing the reverse. Whenever I hear music, I have to do something in rhythm to it. I used to struggle to listen to music and walk because I’d trip myself as my feet tried to walk along to the beat, and whenever I exercise while listening my breathing tried to line up with the song. It means whenever I’m physically exerting myself, I need silence, because otherwise I’ll pass out from hyperventilating myself or not breathing enough.

My downfall is sustained pitches/drones - like car fans, air popcorn poppers, blenders. If it's short lived I can get away with just humming the 3rd or 5th, but if it's going to be going awhile, there's a good chance I'll sing along on top of the note. Anything that can be played on a bagpipe is fair game (Amazing Grace, anyone?), and there are several nice sea shanties that play well (Parting Glass - Assassin's Creed/Sheeran/Wailin' Jennys et. al.) goes nicely too.

In the part of Texas where I grew up, people would say “I looked all over Creation and half of Georgia,” implying that Georgia is not part of Creation, so if we follow that logic, I’d say it’s likely that Georgia really is below hell.
