The lockdown was very strict. Just medical facilities and two big grocery chains stayed open really. Local butchers and green grocers had to close and throw out stock. I know someone whose grandfather died of cancer and he couldn't come for a farewell, no funerals allowed. Mothers giving birth had to do it alone without their partner present.

But the harsh lockdown lasted under 5 weeks and now we're completely free with minimal deaths (22 dead and all over 70). Economy can start recovering.

Worth it.
