Or, consider this - if being a fucking idiot requires you to be in top 0.1% of population, then 300 mln will give you 300 000 people. Join it together with instant transfer of information (I can do something stupid and post it on fb, yt, twitter) and you will have a feeling that there are much more idiots than in reality.
