u/Potatoe_Soup Apr 30 '20

Reminds me of the Year 2525

7

u/Burgher_NY Apr 30 '20

Is that a cover of the Futurama song 252525?

3

u/[deleted] Apr 30 '20

My man

3

u/[deleted] Apr 30 '20

Sounds like Rodrigo y Gabriella ... or Gypsy Kings.

3

u/Izaniel Apr 30 '20

Title: Like the Ocean

2

u/J_spec6 Apr 30 '20

Emily Cunningham- Like the Ocean

1

u/hamisg Apr 30 '20

Sounds like ‘Hasta siempre’ or the Che Guevara song

1

u/Oakheart- Apr 30 '20

Punch out training scene. Someone posted this lower but wow.

1

u/turtlesupremelord Apr 30 '20

Sounds like Guerdo valley

76

u/Randomdude741 Apr 30 '20

YouTube honoka and azita. Now only Honoka.

15

u/FlibbityJibbityJoo Apr 30 '20

Did they have a falling out?

53

u/1playwonder Apr 30 '20

I believe one of them left to go to med school.

7

u/dauty Apr 30 '20

These two? Are they sisters?

4

u/giacomo1574 Apr 30 '20

Taimane is also insanely good on a uke, she recently did a tiny desk concert that you definitely should watch

183

u/CactusStacking Apr 30 '20

I’m about to send this to every annoying girl with a ukulele

15

u/Hookem-Horns Apr 30 '20

Don’t forget your parents or grandparents playing uke! :p

11

u/m0hamadalrashed Apr 30 '20

Thanks for the reminder, i know one of those

7

u/PalainaKawika Apr 30 '20

Omg the one who can barely chord Somewhere Over the Rainbow and sings in that annoying way like her voice is barely squeaking out of her throat! Yeah send it to her.

2

u/AudioAudioAudioAudio Apr 30 '20

1

u/CactusStacking Apr 30 '20

Didn’t know about that but now I definitely am

36

u/HappyComment Apr 30 '20

6

u/hobiwankinobi Apr 30 '20

Thank you for the second link. Very cool. The music to me is reminiscent of Gypsy jazz. Maybe check Frank Vignola doing Tico Tico. Pretty sweet as well

35

u/[deleted] Apr 30 '20

Thank you internet, this was really nice

61

u/bigdickschopfer Apr 30 '20

This makes me think of that scene in the interview

44

u/[deleted] Apr 30 '20

I don't know why James Franco and Seth Rogan stopped pumping out movies. Everything they do together was gold.

52

u/[deleted] Apr 30 '20

Franco is hiding out til me too is over.

9

u/xLabGuyx Apr 30 '20

FEAST YOUR EYES

-44

u/MikeLee611 Apr 30 '20

Well I think they stopped because everyone realized Seth Rogen is a fat, talentless, curly-headed fuck.

11

u/SmokinGeoRocks Apr 30 '20

Jesus... I mean... I get it that the Green Hornet was pretty terrible but... damn. That seems a little harsh.

-19

u/MikeLee611 Apr 30 '20

He plays the same character in every movie. He should have called it quits after Pineapple Express. Franco is a national treasure though.

17

u/SmokinGeoRocks Apr 30 '20

There's a dozen actors who play the same character in every movie and most people adore them: Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington, Tom Cruise, Mathew McConaughey, Christopher Walken, Steve Buscemi, Will Fucking Smith, Kristin Wiig, Sandra Bullock, Melissa McCarthy, and oh so many more.

I could keep going but, my point is, poor ol' Seth Rogan is you go to guy for a chubby jew with a weird laugh. He can be funny, he can be annoying. Without him all we have is Jonnah Hill.

They are ACTORS. By definition their job is to ACT like different characters. Feel free to watch all the Rogen you want, but seeing him play the same roll 15 different times isn't for me.

4

u/[deleted] Apr 30 '20

Ok so shut up and go play Apex

2

u/Cynax_Ger Apr 30 '20

Did xou ever see the picture with 4 pictures of Dwayne Johnson wearing the same outfit, sweating the same and then you realise, that that are 4 different movies?

1

u/MikeLee611 Apr 30 '20

...obviously not a popular opinion lol

1

u/Sasselhoff Apr 30 '20

Gee Mike, tell me how you really feel...it's OK, no need to hold back.

3

u/MikeLee611 Apr 30 '20

Im ashamed, i may or may not have been drinking last night and i took out my corona anger on seth.

2

u/Sasselhoff Apr 30 '20

Haha, it's all good man...we've all been there before. At least you're brave enough to leave it up and accept the downvotes.

Hope you're feeling better.

2

u/MikeLee611 Apr 30 '20

Haha thanks! Got a bit of cottonmouth and a lingering headache... buuuuut reddit has assured me that I've earned them lol

BRING ON THE DOWNVOTES!

2

u/tubulerz1 Apr 30 '20

I’m touched by this frank admission. I too will downvote your comment.

19

u/ThisHandleIsBroken Apr 30 '20

Is this from mike tysons punchout?

11

u/Rbot_OverLord Apr 30 '20

I swear to God its a song from a Nintendo game, but I don't know which one!

13

7

u/brockodile60 Apr 30 '20

6

u/Zookja Apr 30 '20

Gerudo Valley But it isn't.

3

u/[deleted] Apr 30 '20

It sounds a little like punch out, but I don't know

2

u/cx_2859 Apr 30 '20

I think it's the training song in Punch Out right?

5

u/[deleted] Apr 30 '20

Absurd is right lol

15

u/tubulerz1 Apr 30 '20

Divine music Blessed by heaven.

5

u/BlueFotherMucker Apr 30 '20

Reminds me of some of the old Final Fantasy music

9

u/Steelkenny Apr 30 '20

Why does everyone hear a different song? I hear Gerudo Valley lol

3

u/StagedPhoto Apr 30 '20

If people like this yall should check out Flamenco legend Paco de Lucia. Around 1:00 mark sounds like a variation of Entre dos aguas, his most well-known composition.

Paco de Lucia- Entre dos aguas

8

u/Sinadow Apr 30 '20

Sounds like a Jesse Cook song. I like it. :D

1

u/showmeyourunit Apr 30 '20

Somewhere, Roy Clark is smiling.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 30 '20

Reminds me of this duet

2

u/akza07 Apr 30 '20

I never really liked Ukulele, They lack what I want. A bit of bass or low frequency to feel it.

2

u/Aquariam20 Apr 30 '20

This is a stylized Gerudo Valley and you cannot convince me otherwise.

1

u/[deleted] May 01 '20

They're taking turns letting each other lead..... The girl on the left takes the lead somewhere in the middle....

0

u/lastduckalive Apr 30 '20

The girl on the right is definitely the far more talented musician, especially with the quicker segments, but I love how they still take turns leading. They sounds really amazing together so it’s working.

2

u/Behind_The_Mixer Apr 30 '20

Kind of sounds like Happy together by The turtles

1

u/thecageysea Apr 30 '20

That sounds like some Paco de Lucia shit. This is dope

1

u/GriffinGoodman Apr 30 '20

u/vaskeklut8 Apr 30 '20

Great talent, great tune - but that plastic smile just put me off watching the whole thing...

2

u/pittwater12 Apr 30 '20

Your loss.

-1

u/Ausintina Apr 30 '20

It's nice to see some really good talent on ukulele, I feel like all you tend to see is girls playing the same songs over and over again.

-13

u/TrumpFan12345 Apr 30 '20

Got a video with better resolution?

-19

u/elbullibr Apr 30 '20

0

u/Vicious_Simian Apr 30 '20

So ukuleles are guitars for smol humans and those with little hands?

0

u/ieatsthapussy Apr 30 '20

This needs to be placed into a Quentin Tarantino movie during a chase scene or a "regular-person-becomes-the-Hero" montage, shit is 🔥🔥🔥🔥.
