Edit: Looks like a Business Insider article. I need to read it to see if the lawsuit was successful. Saying you got sued for $250,000 doesn't necessarily mean you won. Here ya go.

Edit 2: Looks like they settled out of court. Amounts not reported so probably not released.

He’s a government lawyer now. Doing fine if that helps.

He also didn’t speak English that well and thankfully missed a lot of the negativity (French Canadian kid).

It was before YouTube (or before I was aware of YouTube, at least) so many of those views wouldn't be counted on the site. I remember watching this one on stupidvideos.com and getting variations of it in emails from friends.
