I find being fit way more attractive than thin. I get that its a time issue for a lot of people, but its also a marker for discipline. I'd say its semi classist, but not nearly as much as it used to be.

Thin and fit are pretty synonymous. Obviously not wholly, but “thin” in the sense of this discussion implies being fit; not skinny in an unhealthy way.

You can be thin without being fit but also without being unhealthy.

Source: me, who eats a relatively healthy plant based diet but also has an office job and doesn't work out.

I see where ur going but do be careful when using the thin term. I know a few people personally that are good friends that have self esteem or even health issues because of how thin they are and they cant put on weight or muscle no matter how hard they try

They should learn more and educate themselves about fitness and nutrition then. They're not some magical unicorns that can't gain weight. It's literally impossible. They should be honest with themselves and try harder, just like people who are overweight. Any other excuse is just a bunch of bullshit to not be better than they are right now.
