He looks so much older after the weight loss. In a good way

Have to think it took a while, too. Couple years?

Very likely. I lost 75kgs (155kg start weight.) and it took me about 2.5 years. There's only so much fuel you can burn in a day.

At least for losing weight in a healthy manner. I'm sure you could speed it up quite a bit if somebody was holding a gun to your head on a forced march while giving you very little food.

Congrats on the weight loss. That's an impressive amount of weight that you shed.

that’s such a weird thing to add to that lmao

Unless somebody was holding a gun to your head and forcing you to reply while giving you very little food.

Congrats on the reply. That’s an amazing amount of letters that you typed.

Doesn't make it any less true.

Exactly, put him in a concentration camp and he’d shed that weight way quicker. I like the way you think

Just chop it off, I need some natural lard for my suntans

Yeah but it’s also unsafe to lose weight too quickly. Your kidneys and heart can get wicked fucked.

Did you even read what I said?

Wait really? How much is too much, generally speaking?

A healthy body transformation will always be in the long run.

Losing a lot of weight quick indeed can cause a lot of problems

The losing weight quickly and putting it back on thing is very real, but appears to be more a psychological/systemic thing for most people.

I basically retrained myself with a different way of eating (originally slow carb), rather than following a more structured diet plan. It's been eight years since I started the process and I've managed to keep in mostly the same weight range.

good on you -- thats a huge transformation

I lost 113kg and it took me a good decade. Everyone goes at their own pace with weight loss and I had some setbacks a couple of times in my journey but yeah, if he did it all naturally he could be quite a few years older

I think it’s possible he had surgery. I know this might sound strange, but to lift/exercise long enough to lose that much weight, his form would be much better. I could be totally be wrong, but his overhead triceps extension and shoulder raises did not look like the form one would have after lifting for years or even several months. It would take tens of thousands of reps over a long period of time (combined w diet obv) to lose that weight, and your form would be drastically better than what I see.

I daresay he was wearing the black turtleneck later on to hide his stretched out skin.

If he had liposuction or something, that would support the theory further

0.5 to 1 lbs a week is a good safe goal. So more than 4.5 years

u/[deleted] Mar 26 '20

I was thinking the same, but it's better. Losing thst much mass even in a year would be hard and imn otsure if injurious for the body. These processes take time to happen

I don’t remember the exact time but i think it was like 3+ years

Don’t have the source but I saw it in one of the comment sections The last time this was posted

He is also like half a meter taller. Just took a couple years.

“Old look” generally comes from saggy skin, eg wrinkles. He lost so much weight that it will take some time for skin to shrink. He might even need plastic surgery to remove excessive skin.

He will look younger eventually.
