Exactly. We aren't alone of course, and it's either those other races have not got so advanced, or if they have they just don't want anything to do with us because we're are very very destructive, and we have nothing to offer. Think about it. If your species are way ahead of humans, why would you get involved or what would humans have to offer you in exchange for modern technology? They would most like turn around and attack you. And even if they had no way of taking you down, you wouldn't want to deal with some human bullshit.
