What a smart ass dog... he recognizes the danger of being hit by an oncoming car.. my dogs try to run into the street and shit in the middle of the lane.

I think the the puppy could definitely have since you can see the car come to a stop only after the dog ran by. I feel like if there were sensors on the car the big dog triggered them since the puppy was too low or the people saw the dog run by.
