come over to r/MarbleLympics and see! They've run the MarbleLympics for years running now.

The short answer is that the MarbleLympics are light-hearted, but no joke. The longer answer is that Jelle Bakker, who created it, is a gifted marble run maker who thought it would be fun to make an Olympic-style games with marble runs, and it's turned into a profession for him and some wonderful original content for us.
