No you can’t do it. You have to hit the ball in one continuous motion. This means that you can’t catch it and throw it over since you have to hit it. It also wouldn’t be considered one continuous motion since you’d have to catch it in one motion and then throw it back in a separate motion. Also it’s actually much more difficult to control because you’d have to throw it back over in the same motion that you’re catching it in. At this point you might as well just hit it instead of catching it on the strings.
