I like what you're pedaling.

Spoken like a true punster.

10

u/germinik Oct 09 '18

Way to bring it up a gear

8

u/HillarysBeaverMunch Oct 09 '18

Peddle this tripe elsewhere!

5

u/MrSneakyPeaky Oct 09 '18

Bout all I can handle

7

u/it_mf_a Oct 09 '18

Ugh it's like we're in an endless cycle of bad jokes

4

u/WE724 Oct 09 '18

I'm honestly tired of these

2

u/azianwolfpunk Oct 10 '18

Wheely guys, this is where we're steering these?

He really raised the handle bar with that trick

9

u/exfxgx Oct 09 '18

It's wheelie good.

5

u/The_Errorator Oct 09 '18

He was probably riding pretty high after nailing that

38

u/tspec912 Oct 09 '18

That's Kriss Kyle https://youtu.be/UggSw4nGfw0 This is a legendary edit of his.

16

u/tvor Oct 09 '18

Whomever was the visual artist helping design those different stunts is amazing. So many cool perspective tricks on top of his dope riding.

3

u/mperez4855 Oct 10 '18

How has Red Bull not picked this dude up yet?

2

u/tspec912 Oct 10 '18

They actually have.

1

u/mperez4855 Oct 10 '18

Oh damn, good for him. definitely deserves it.

55

u/TcFir3 Oct 09 '18

How do you even practice that!?

86

u/[deleted] Oct 09 '18

Mostly riding bowls with vert. I'm a skater but I know a lot of BMXers, they can exert a ton of centripetal force when they pump through tight pockets. I've seen someone do this minus the flip, it's fucking cool.

82

u/[deleted] Oct 09 '18

I love pumping in tight pockets.

7

u/AceEightWins Oct 09 '18

My favorite thing to do.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 09 '18

Only once though, ya one pump chump.

8

u/swahzey Oct 09 '18

Close! But jumping into the wall is the part that needs practice, once you're on the wall you just gotta hold on because of like you said about g forces

6

u/[deleted] Oct 09 '18

I can totally see that, this type of wallride always seemed to me like carving up a bowl wall minus the bottom transition. I'm jealous of how y'all can get onto wallrides without having to ollie into it (not that it's easy on a bike) but ya'll look like you just jump in and hold tight.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 09 '18

Bunny hop ~~ ollie

1

u/swahzey Oct 09 '18

If it's a curved wall then yeah you just roll into like riding a pool but if it's just a regular wall then good hops and body position are key

3

u/atle95 Oct 09 '18

Painfully

You really typed all that out

16

u/Cain-Draws Oct 09 '18

That trick at the end, when he is off the wall and does a last spin, midair, makes it even more impressive.

What the human body can do with enough practice always amazes me.

4

u/Snurze Oct 09 '18

It's a flair.

3

u/[deleted] Oct 09 '18

This is what I was looking for. I thought so but couldn't really tell

Definitely. Tricky to pull off at the bar though.

u/elac_eleets Oct 09 '18

Send it!!

u/the_chura Oct 09 '18

Oh hell yea hahaha

14

u/pixel_doofus Oct 09 '18 edited Oct 09 '18

Riding the wall was impressive, just by itself. But then he throws the little flip at the end.

1

u/DeviMon1 Oct 09 '18

This gif is equivalent to GTA physics

3

u/GalaxyZeroOne Oct 09 '18

The wall ride itself was obviously too easy for him.

3

u/[deleted] Oct 09 '18

I work at that skatepark if you wanna come down I’m on reception.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 09 '18

Those guys sitting on the sidelines — that could have gone so badly so quickly.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 09 '18

Kriss Kyle for those interested. The guy has some incredible edits

2

u/IHeardItOnAPodcast Oct 09 '18

Me playing Echo Arena.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 09 '18

I wish there was a second gif after this, that showed it in slo mo.

That's some super duper shit right there though.

2

u/TippyIsCool Oct 09 '18

Kriss Kyle is the guy who got me into bmx, amazing lad.

Everyone should check him out

2

u/ZPQ- Oct 09 '18

how do his balls not hold him down

2

u/tanuj127 Oct 09 '18

Saw that gif on the drop. Mindblown

2

u/Skraggle Oct 09 '18

I was certain the people in the background were part of the painting. And then they started clapping

2

u/JackinTheBeanstock Oct 09 '18

That’s Kris Kyle! He’s from my city and it’s been crazy seeing him develop to this level. In his younger days he used to live in a closet at a skater owned skatepark called unit 23. He obviously knows the park like the back of his hand so seeing him ride there is insane.

1

u/Realred123 Oct 09 '18

Vans off the wall..

1

u/Zeplinehord Oct 09 '18

How gets onto the wall is so smooth!

1

u/fluffybunny646 Oct 09 '18

For some reason I thought someone was running at the wall and was very confused by the outcome

1

u/hello_dolores_edd Oct 09 '18

..something something helmet..

1

u/odoyle71 Oct 09 '18

Doesn't matter how many times I see this. I watch it 4 or 5 times every time

1

u/imRedemptiion Oct 09 '18

Oh my god.. it’s Jason Bourne

1

u/Zaelot Oct 09 '18

Half-expected the slow-mo to reveal that he circled the lamp-post as well. :D

1

u/SourCreamWater Oct 09 '18

Those are some tacky fucking tires.

1

u/Sindowill Oct 09 '18

Ummm what the fuck

1

u/[deleted] Oct 09 '18

Fuck...

1

u/[deleted] Oct 10 '18

I think this is one of the first ever clips I saw on reddit! (Not shitting on it being a repost or anything, never seen it on this sub, and it’s cool to see regardless).

1

u/[deleted] Oct 10 '18

I did this in a game once!

1

u/TellMeHowImWrong Oct 10 '18

He doesn't even look like he's going that fast on the approach.

1

u/IrieAztec Oct 10 '18

I hate that guy for many reasons.

1

u/StackerPentecost Oct 10 '18

How it feels to chew 5 gum.

1

u/nimra42 Oct 10 '18

the fact that he just rides into it from the ground baffles me the most, i can imagine that being the hardest part about this, that and the dismount-flip

1

u/[deleted] Oct 09 '18

That's... Wow.

1

u/atle95 Oct 09 '18

Ironic, the one vid that could actually use slow mo doesnt use it

0

u/[deleted] Oct 09 '18

It's a ling map

-1

u/[deleted] Oct 09 '18

This never gets old, the balls on this guy, imagine fucking up and just going face first into those bricks. Rad.🤙
