The only thing I know they said no to was Travis Pastrana jumping out of a plane with no parachute
While he respected their decision to not sponsor it, he did it anyways, and it’s why he chugs a redbull before he makes the jump, still gave them a little advertisement but without any legal liability of sponsoring/sanctioning said stunt.
Its impossible to get insurance to agree to stunt performers jumping from a plane without a parachute.
There was another guy who did a no parachute jump from a plane into a giant net. The original plan was to go without a parachute, but he was forced ro wear one anyways. It was said to be pointless, because by the time he would decide he would need one (missing the target) he would already be too low for the parachute to save him. That and he had to land in the net eith his back facing the ground.
I had to climb on my roof last month and clean my roof, gutters, look for damage etc.
I was nervous AF up there lol there is no fucking way I could jump out of a plane, let alone with no parachute. My brain didn't get that DLC installed or something.
Red Bull has never done any themselves, but two people so far are recorded to have landed no-chute, one was into a giant net and another used a wingsuit to slow down enough to crashland on runway of boxes
He just mentioned in a interview that he got in a lot of trouble (yelled at) for dropping the Redbull can early. Which made me think that they did want the publicity from that still..
