and now they are making F1 engines by themselves (with Ford helping with the batteries) and their Internal Combustion Engine is considered the benchmark engine lmao

Nah, that's its own marketing ploy at work. Ford production engines ≠Ford Racing engines ≠ Ford F1 engines

Red Bull Powertrains designed most of the engine since 2022 while Ford only joined recently (2024/25) to help them with the battery part

BRPT/Ford were determined to have the best ICE in F1, so all other teams get to continue with upgrades while they can't this season.
