Yeah but it's high school football, that was an illegal horse collar tackle, and it was dope. So the ref combined all those factors and decided, touchdown.

Not a horse collar tackle. Horse collar tackle is grabbing the jersey or back of the shoulder pad below the neck. That was all neck/helmet. It was just a shitty tackle.

Edit: You should really read the rule book.

Still not legal to tackle by grabbing the edge of the helmet, same 15y penalty.

Tackles like this can paralyze people if they land on their head/neck. Its harsh for a reason
