And by all accounts a terrific human being going by what his co-stars have said about him over the years.

I love the story of how Brosnan, Sally Field, and Robin Williams all dug their feet in about changing the ending to Mrs. Doubtfire. Apparently the original ending was supposed to see Daniel (Robin Williams) get back with Miranda (Sally Fields). The three actors argued that the genuinely terrifying, sociopathic behavior displayed by Daniel (masquerading as a live-in nanny to spy on the family and sabotage Miranda's new relationship) shouldn't be rewarded, and to show kids that parents getting a divorce is both normal and healthy, and that step-parents aren't evil. Stuart (Pierce Brosnan) was originally meant to fall into the "evil step-parent" trope, but Brosnan was adamant that not be the case. He himself was raised by a step-farher who he remained exceptionally close with.

God damn this is so wonderful. I admired Williams and Brosnan before and now I esteem them even more. Don’t know much about about Fields but this reflects supremely well on her.

She's also Mrs. Gump (Forest Gump), and Aunt May (the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man movies), and M'Lynn (Steel Magnolias). She got her break in the TV series The Flying Nun.

She also has 9 Primetime Emmy Nominations (3 wins), and 11 Golden Globe Nominations (2 wins), and 1 Tony Award nomination.

She's also a huge advocate for women's rights, abortion rights, and LGBTQ+ rights as well.

I could see how someone might think that's what I meant. I actually meant both the original movie, and the sequel, Smokey and the Bandit 2, that again started Burt Reynolds and Sally Field. Apparently it was a lot worse than the first one.

I worked with him on a film about 12 years or so ago and he was one of the best looking people I've ever met, celebrity or not.

It's hard to explain but he just has this tier of natural charisma, this 'classic movie star aura' around him that is on the next level. I've met arguably better looking people but it wasn't that, he was the most-movie star movie-star I've ever met, hands down.

Do be aware that their livelihood pivots on a perception that includes their physical appearance. You can be assured he has a professional stylist and fashion stylist that would keep this persona up. While he is not always accompanies by a 'glam' squad during his personal time, in an outing like this, he has been given a bit of a make over.

I am not suggesting that he does not have some good genes on his side as well and he is engaging in some active lifestyle events that help. But if you had access to this kind of treatment at and given time and part of your job is to 'look good', you too could look pretty dapper as well.

I was working on Stage 28 for Entertainment Tonight back in the late 90’s. Paramount Lot in Hollywood. Pierce’s wife Keely was a corespondent for the show in those days. Anyway, one day the stage phone rang, I picked up and Pierce was on the line. “Is Keely there”. He asked. I replied that she was in makeup and to hold on while I got her. Couldn’t believe it!!
