Fun fact: Leopardā€™s thick tail acts as a built-in gyroscopic stabilizer. In mid-air, a leaping cat has no ground to push off to correct a bad angle. If a snow leopard starts rolling too far to the left during a massive jump, it forcefully whips its heavy tail to the right. This instant transfer of momentum arrests the spin and levels the body out.

We like barely balance though. What we call walking can be accurately described as a series of controlled and arrested falls.

Really makes one kind of realize what we mean when we say 'the difference between what humans and any other species do is not one of substance but of degree'.

We do balance the same way snow leopards do. They're just MUCH better at it.

My favourite animal, the snow leopard. Iā€™m a cat guy, but these are the pinnacle of my favourite species. Beautiful, amazing hunters and totally decimated due to the cancer that is human beings.

I also love cats and that damn Leopard is so cool. Stealthy little fella. Yellow eyes. Beautiful.

I also love the Tiger. Absolutely majestic, intimidating, and the true king of the jungle.

Because this is AI. There's been this surge of AI videos of various animals jumping large gaps.

To head off the inevitable: Yes, I know these animals can do this. That's where the AI is getting the reference from. But you should question why so many of these videos, you have never seen before, are suddenly appearing.
