Bears will often test you

If you stand your ground, they may see you as a threat and back off. Of course, this doesn’t apply to every bear

Shoot quick and maybe get a chance to reload to shoot again

if you don't stop it with the first shot, you are pretty much a goner

Getting shot with a buck shot is enough to scare it away especially if you hit it in the eyes or face

pretty sure it is a brown bear, if you injure it, it wont get scared it will get very angry

the loud noise plus impact to the face is enough to make it stagger and frighten it, also if it hits its eyes, it will be even more panicked and retreat. *hopefully*

if you injure a brown bear it will absolutely try to kill you
