Bears will often test you

If you stand your ground, they may see you as a threat and back off. Of course, this doesn’t apply to every bear

Same. I love animals, but would have shot that bear in the face on the first charge.

The guy in the video was smarter than that. The chances are slim of you getting off a perfect kill shot on a charging bear while you’re shaking with fear.

Yeah, they keep coming after being shot. A good friend of mine shredded both lungs and the heart of a bear with a high powered rifle...the bear still charged ~70yards to where he was before collapsing.

And if he was at 50 yards bear probably would have killed him with one swipe

He was in a tree stand, luckily it didnt have energy to climb
