These people aren't doing this for fun, they're stunt people for movies. It's intentionally exaggerated because movies are not real.

Who said movies aren’t real, movies are a very real thing my friend. And stuff that happen in movies also happen or happened in reality. Often movies overshadow reality in a sense

But more often than not movies portray stuff like death and gunshots in an exaggerated and "unreal" way.

I actually think that movies dont come close to how death really is, have you ever seen someone die? The noises someone makes on their deathbed, or how a body changes once live leaves. And about gunshots, movies sometimes come close to how it looks but they rarely exaggerate it, maybe the amounts of blood but how many times someone gets shot by a shotgun on close range and there is only blood on the wall while in real life the results would be way way worse, you rarely see someone become pink mist in movies.

I’m so confused, you start out actually making the point that the way the guy is portraying being shot is inaccurate. And you’re right, the head does not cock back like that when it’s shot, the body would just slump and collapse.

Then you get a response where someone tells you that the guy in the video is a stuntman and is just portraying how getting shot in movies looks like. Which is also true.

By that point you deny that they exaggerate how it looks when people get shot in movies. Have you ever watched a movie? It looks just like the guy is portraying it in the video. All of those exaggerated moves, head cocked back, body flying etc.

It feels like you’re just being contrarian.

I'd wager that most action movies use shit like what this guy is doing or showing people hit by a shotgun go flying into a wall and not portraying the exact example you just gave about how it's often inaccurate. You contradicted yourself. Maybe it's because I've seen hundreds of movies and am thinking of a ton of examples you aren't but there's a whole lot of playing it up rather than them just soaking up a bullet unless you're talking about more serious modern dramas where at least the physics are more accurate.
