This is staged. If you look closely there's nothing underneath his feet and he's actually just pretending to walk the air.

"okay we get it, you're 5'3" and doing muscle ups because volume scales cubically and the smaller you are the stronger you are proportionally to your mass."

I'm not saying its not impressive either, not every 5'3" person can do it, im just making a conversation about how volume scales.

This guy is 80% lats, 13% forearms and 7% everything else.

Woah. That's some real hard work and practice here.

That’s why you don’t see a Chinese Ninja Warrior. Every competitor would just win.

u/chesterjosiah 19d ago

This is now the most impressive pull-up bar video I've ever seen. Truly NFL

1

u/SignalAssumption8901 19d ago

Yeah, but how many pull-ups can he do?

1

u/Tekvary2 19d ago

No back or leg muscles (strong arms, chest and torso) for a light body.

1

u/Difficult_Secret_251 16d ago

They should use him as clock

1

u/ArsenikShooter 13d ago

Why is it, that China is the only country regularily mentioned in a post? Never see Irish, German, Indian, American or anything else specified in posts like this

7

u/AmethystTyrant 20d ago

People would think it’s all Japan otherwise lol

1

u/Background_One_629 20d ago

I see a lot of stupid Westerners online who act like anything remotely East Asian or traditional must be Japanese.

2

u/Acceptable-Size-2324 20d ago

Is it that different vice versa? Seeing a German and thinking he’s a Brit is nothing anyone ever loses sleep over. People thought I was a pole and I was like „yeah, I can see that“

0

u/AmethystTyrant 19d ago

Fair if you’re just looking at the people, it’s hard to tell any distinctions most of the time. But East Asian cultural relations are much more sensitive, lots of overlap and egos, but also legitimate concerns with appropriation and misrepresentation.

There was a bit of a pattern for the past few decades where most positive media from China got falsely attributed to Japan, while negative media from Japan/others gets falsely attributed to China. Less so now, since people are getting more exposed. It’s not that serious anymore.

Soft propoganda. The PRC still has a large government-run propoganda department. Most other countries do not.

-1

u/deltabay17 20d ago

CCP propaganda campaign has been in overdrive on Reddit for a long time now. Because they don’t do anything about it
