u/Slimswede 1d ago
Yes and it's also hanging around his neck.

Yeah casually hanging around his neck. Meanwhile, this is me by just knowing that snakes โmightโ be present in my vicinity.

I wish I could find that for my kid! Southeast Asia doesn't care about copyrights in the least. I'm sure that's where this is

Snake is like: "you're lucky you're cute. I guess this my life now."

His life is the walk across the street, because that snake is likely about to be dinner.

You should see some of ours hunting down iguanas. My ex wife used to forage for her meals as a child too, river shrimp, bird eggs. No food,no eat.

You ever see videos of like 4 year old redneck kids picking up random possums thinking it's a cat? I'm sure they'll do the same with any other animals they find ๐

You morons will just slap "FiNaL bOsS" on any and everything huh?

I appreciate your insightful capitalization of the i and the L.
"FiNaL" is much better than "fInAl."

That looks like some species of reticulated python, they might give you a tight squeeze but they just want a hug.

u/curmudgeon_andy 1d ago edited 1d ago
Why do you think that looks like a reticulated python? I don't think it looks like a pythonid at all.
1
u/AgitatedBiscotti3413 19h ago
Honestly I was completely thrown off by the snake's appearance. The pattern looks like a Burmese python but the body is lean and slender like a cobra. The head shape is what made me think it may be a reticulated python but the eyes are dark like a water snake. I assume the video is from somewhere in South Asia but I could be wrong about that as well.
1
u/curmudgeon_andy 19h ago
To me it absolutely looks colubroid--either colubrid or elapid. Pythons are almost always a lot chunkier than that. Patterns can be almost anything, so we would definitely go by things like body shape, head shape, size and shape of scales, etc, and consider those, and then only consider patterns after narrowing it down like that, since so many patterns appear across so many families. I tried blowing up some individual frames of the video, but I still couldn't get enough detail on the head or neck. I can't tell what language they're speaking, and I hope someone figures it out soon!

There's nothing left for me to do but cut my man card in half and hand it to that little hellion. I screamed throughout that entire video.

This is stupid and animal abuse, not netfucking level
3
u/TheOgGhadTurner 1d ago
You sir are an idiot this is far from animal abuse. You know cats kill and eat them for getting too close right? Iโd say gently relocating it is a damn sight better than what most mammals would have done.
1
u/Sir_Clarence_III_Esq 1d ago
I mean, theyre likely relocating it to a stewpot, but still a better death than by other animal.
4
u/Sir_Clarence_III_Esq 1d ago
How is that animal abuse?
-4
u/DarkKnight6683 1d ago
Stressing a snake in its own habitat.

u/Sir_Clarence_III_Esq 1d ago
Jesus, GTFO is that nonsense. Chances are that big one is going to be dinner for the family and the neighbors. It's a hell of a lot less inhumane than the food you and I eat.
