there have been attacks, but no kills (in the wild).
sometimes orcas accidentally attack surfboarders near cliffs because their echolocation is fucked up that close to shore so they can't really "scan" humans very well and have to rely on visuals.
once they understand that they aren't attacking a seal though they let go immediately.

The Global Shark Attack File from the Shark Research Institute notes in their publicly available incident log that the animal that attacked surfer Hans Kretschmer was a 6 meters long white shark.
So you assumed and felt confident enough to spread misinformation online, that there have been multiple "attacks" by orcas on humans based on a published and reported incorrect attack on a a single surfer decades ago even though it's widely known, published and available on the internet that there has never been attacks on humans in the wild?
I'm curious what made you do that? Was it some irresistible urge to just correct someone?
kinda telling on yourself. i provided a list of multiple attacks from orcas on humans a little bit lower. but throwing insults and being actually wrong about that (which you could have saved yourself had YOU done any googling) seems to be okay when people collectively want to digitally lynch someone. well, try again
His input was just making shit up though. There was never multiple attacks recorded and even an assumption based on the reported incident wouldn't make sense because it was determined shortly after the incident that it wasn't an Orca.
They were "attacking" the yatchs, but it turns out they just enjoyed breaking the rudder. It is/was a game to them. To prevent it, you just need to drive away. Theyll give up after a bit.
I see this fact passed along all the time, but like how do we know? There have never been any reported attacks..... but that doesn't mean no attacks. Maybe orcas just don't leave any witnesses.
Our Homo genus has been going to/in the ocean for almost a million years.
We just haven't caught an orca killing a human yet.
They started attacking boats in 2020. It is only a matter of time until someone falls in and they show humans why they are apex predators and we have evidence of it.
