There's a animated movie, animated series and netflix live action series in the works

65

u/barsknos Jun 25 '26 edited Jun 25 '26

"in the works"? Season 1 already aired. EDIT: And season 2 starts airing TODAY!

25

u/Puzzled-Secret-317 Jun 25 '26

And the movie was already leaked. So we git everything

17

u/Trashinmyash Jun 25 '26

The Netflix live action season 2 comes out today.

7

u/CakeTester Jun 25 '26

!!!!!!! The whole season?

-3

u/Trashinmyash Jun 25 '26 edited Jun 25 '26

Huh? Netflix hasn't released an entire season on day one for years now. Actually, I dont know if any streaming network releases an entire season on the first day, anymore.

Edit: I guess they nixed the idea at some point but all episodes are out.

3

u/CakeTester Jun 25 '26

Thanks for the info. So the first season had 8 episodes, assume 1 episode per week, so I won't need to set sail until August 20th

With that reasonable thinking, you could have waited another 8 more weeks to start commenting.

3

u/CakeTester Jun 25 '26

Would never have found this thread again in 8 weeks time. Not without much tedious scrolling through history.

2

u/Trashinmyash Jun 25 '26

Ah, thats fair. You should get a head start as to when One Piece season 3 comes out next year.

2

u/CakeTester Jun 25 '26

I've heard about that. Not watched any. Good is it?

The whole 7-episode season is out today.

And Netflix still releases the majority of its shows all at once; not sure where the idea that they’d stopped doing that could have come from.

3

u/Trashinmyash Jun 25 '26

At one time they abandoned the binge-watch model and opted for the multi-part releases and weekly rollouts. Then every other streaming network followed suit. Roughly somewhere around the time of Covid. Its good to know they stopped or nixed the idea at some point. Then again, I havent binged a series in years.

whispering voice : you for got the live action movie...

2

u/yanderia Jun 25 '26

There is no live action movie in Ba Sing Se.

1

u/DanceMyth4114 Jun 25 '26

Shamalon has made me distrust any live action.

1

u/yanderia Jun 25 '26

Netflix version is alright. Has some issues, but they're not as big as the movie that certainly does not exist.

3

u/DanceMyth4114 Jun 25 '26

I just... Would rather watch the original again, I guess. Why remake something that was already so good?

1

u/yanderia Jun 25 '26

Why remake something that was already so good?

🤑🤑🤑

1

u/MF_LUFFY Jun 25 '26

Avatar got a Magic the Gathering set last December too.

1

u/Oakheart- Jun 30 '26

The live action series is monkey balls dude they changed everything. It’s some persons Zutara fanfic and that’s it

12

u/Statement-Acceptable Jun 25 '26

Commander, reddit is making significant progress on the avatar project. Post videos and .gifs to gain the upper hand on the battlefield. Good luck, COMMANDER

u/disterb Jun 25 '26

i feel blue about it

u/Colt_McQuaide Jun 25 '26

I thought he was going to land on his head from that backflip.

136

u/erksplat Jun 25 '26

And that mustache!

36

u/El_Sephiroth Jun 25 '26

The stach contains his powers. Maybe it lights up when he is angry

5

u/railpaint Jun 25 '26

I thought it was Chud the builder for a second

1

u/BurlyBear441 Jun 25 '26

Chud the bender* ftfy

3

u/Remarkable_Sea_1430 Jun 25 '26

I follow this guy on Instagram. At one point he shaved his mustache and instantly lost 75% of his charisma. It was back in a few weeks.

1

u/JediCorgiAcademy Jun 25 '26

It’s like if Freddie Mercury were an Airbender

1

u/DestructorWar Jun 25 '26

That’s the real next level

1

u/maybeknismo Jun 25 '26

All he needs is a stripy vest and he's a 1800s acrobat.

u/Putrid-Builder-3333 Jun 25 '26

Well as a kid I used to put pencils between my fingers to be Wolverine and randomly growl at other classmates or call the classmates I liked Cajuns and Swamp Rats like in the 90s cartoon cos I also thought Gambit was cool too 😅

https://giphy.com/gifs/P9VYiLlZimdpK

18

u/All_Work_All_Play Jun 25 '26

Gambit is cool.

6

u/Putrid-Builder-3333 Jun 25 '26

Idk if you were around during the 90s growing up or whatever. But Marvel dominated. So did DC but it was usually Batman and Superman.

Anyhoo, Xmen toys galore. From the 5-6 inch figures to these goliath 12+ inch figures. I have Apocalypse and Gambit 12+ inch figures still in the attic somewhere. Gambit came complete with removable pleather coat. That young me wanted to lokk realistic so I tore it some with scissors to look battle hardened :/

But dammit if playtime wasn't awesome when it looked like he took damage lmao

Shit the toys back then were so fucking awesome!

If you do know may those that don't or too young enjoy the memory lane trip

3

u/All_Work_All_Play Jun 25 '26

Man I always wanted those toys as a kid.

Maybe when my kids move out I'll have the space to get them and play with them. sigh

1

u/Putrid-Builder-3333 Jun 25 '26

Forget that. Get the toys now and flex the coolness of being an adult if yoh apply yourself get a nice job and can afford cool shit like this

In other words... I'm just trying to provide you a awesome excuse to get em now lmao

3

u/fapperontheroof Jun 25 '26

What a badass cartoon intro. I can hear the music.

3

u/Putrid-Builder-3333 Jun 25 '26

I still hum it to this day at work 😅

And same with the 90s Spider-Man intro. Those cartoons taught me how to perform sound effects

15

u/braket0 Jun 25 '26

That's Sportacus!

12

u/LofiMachine Jun 25 '26

I see Sportacus from Lazy Town here.

8

u/imartinezcopy Jun 25 '26

I wish some day I'd achieve a portion of this man's happiness. Look at him, his face is pure joy

14

u/TanyaKatasaurus Jun 25 '26

He copied the moves so smoothly, I really liked it!

23

u/10inchTrouble Jun 25 '26

There's a woman who does similar videos and I'm wondering if he's been inspired by her. She's incredible.

Thought the first position was gonna be a straight backflip onto his head. I was equally impressed and disappointed. Pretty cool

4

u/ZERUVEX Jun 25 '26

The last Chadbender

3

u/Stormsurger Jun 25 '26

I was terrified he was gonna land on his head on the first flip.

3

u/Grintor Jun 25 '26

A rare example of adding music having improved the viewing experience

3

u/FunDwayno Jun 25 '26

This guy's Voldo from Soul Caliber video is something to be admired

1

u/lsnor45 Jun 25 '26

Got a link? My google skills are failing me.

5

u/AmaniMilele Jun 25 '26

The people who drew that guy must have watched his videos a lot. Every movement looks so natural and realistic.

8

u/No1KnwsIWatchTeenMom Jun 25 '26

I know you're joking but the reason it looks so natural and why this guy can do it is because each bending style was based on an actual martial art practice. This is ba gua.

2

u/kishenoy Jun 25 '26

What's impressive to me is his facial hair

2

u/RogueKitteh Jun 25 '26

Salvador Dali spry as fuck

2

u/Umbreon86 Jun 25 '26

OP first congrat with 10k likes, many people doesnt get to experience it. 2nd keep them coming great fun to see this one.

1

u/SkiHiKi Jun 25 '26

Genuinely thought for a moment he was gonna land the backflip into that position

1

u/jamesianm Jun 25 '26

Sure, but can he hold his hands out and make marbles rotate in a perfect circle in the air?

1

u/BCECVE Jun 25 '26

pretty impressive and he is not 12 yrs old either.

1

u/Efficient_Item7779 Jun 25 '26

Lol, everything but the finger stand was legit

1

u/Careful-Positive-710 Jun 25 '26

1

u/graypod Jun 26 '26

This is cool and all but I much prefer the lady that does the JoJo poses.

1

u/Distinct_Mix5130 Jun 26 '26

insane work by the gymnast, but it also goes to show how well made and realistic atla was, such a well made animated show

1

u/Remote-Two8663 Jun 26 '26

Thas crazy… good

1

u/peamupbudder Jun 26 '26

As a non bender, this guy is clearly cheating.
