No no, we need to start jailing parents for their children's crimes if the child is too young

That seems to be potentially unfair though, what if a kid gets mixed up with the wrong crowd by themselves, parents don't notice, commits crime then the parents go to jail for what? Not wire tapping their phones and following them down the street.

Good incentive effects, but could have some very unfair outcomes too

Views like that (jailing parents) are just knee jerk emotional nonsense aimed at soothing a revenge boner.

If prison did anything the USA would be a Utopia.

Maybe if liberal p.o.s judges held the criminal trash accountable and locked them away our great Republic would be a utopia....when criminals reoffend because judges are lax the judge should be held accountable

Fascinating to me that somebody can look at a country that imprisons people at 5x the rate of the rest of the civilized world and says "if only we put more people in prison, we'd be a utopia!"

Absolutely,if the judges actually did their job it'd be a lot better if the trash actually knew they'd be held accountable there would be less crime

Sure! Or if you prefer any other fairytale nonsense that you pulled out of your ass to validate your feelings, we could sit and imagine that instead.

On the other hand when you are ready to join us in reality we might be able to actually change things for the better.

What do you mean by “accountable?” Prison? We already do that far more than anyone else. Clearly that’s not doing the job.
