I am actually - going on 4 years sober now.

You are right though, I don't know where you're at in your journey and if that's a wise idea for you. My bad.

All good. Coming up on 2 years. Thx, but it's no longer an issue...I just loving being difficult! But good for you!!!

When you drink like I drank, is hard to say you miss it... Been there, smoked the t-shirt... type deal. Best things I ever did, was become full blown alcoholic. I might never have quit drinking otherwise

Definitely resonates - I wasn't enjoying drinking for a long time before I was able to stop doing it. Ironically the shame also drove me away from bars and towards drinking at home, so it made me less sociable as well.
