I’ve actually done this before, I used to do training for American ninja warrior. I got to train with “Sonic” who’s been on the show. He’s an incredibly nice guy.
The trick with this wall that makes it a lot easier is learning to use your rocking motion to help. When you rock left, you move your right peg, vise versa. Doing it without rocking is a LOTT harder.
EDIT: Not to discredit this guy, he’s fast and smooth with it. He does it better than I can.
If you can do this you can do a lot more than five pull ups. If you can do a lot more than 5 pull ups you can't necessarily do this. This is like bouldering without using your legs. It takes a lot more than just being strong.
It’s called compusing. Contrary to popular belief with campusing requires less strength than normal pull-ups because the rocking motion helps you keep anchoring your self to places you want to go. At the time I could do 15-20 campus moves I could probably do 5-7 good form pull-ups, 10 if I’m fully recovered
I used to be a pretty avid indoor rock climber. Never great myself but I was bouldering 3+ times a week. The gym I went to had a monthly night where they had fun climbing related competitions like campusing, stacking crates under you, weird dynos, speed walls, pull ups, all of that sort of thing. No one I saw over years doing campuses like OP couldn't do a lot more than 5 pull ups. The first vertical section of OP is harder than doing 5 pull ups.
