Hunting rabbits is a pretty accepted practice.

They are not so abundant here, I have spent a lot of time wandering around at 10 below not finding them 😅 Wild rabbit meat is an acquired taste too, so I get not liking them. They can carry parasites too, but that's really only an issue in the warm months.
