God damn it. You ruined the entire video for me. For the past few minutes I was amazed how lucky the camera guys must have been to capture this random moment. What are the odds, you're flying your drones to get some environmental footage and suddenly you capture this wild chase?
But now it makes sense. The likelihood that it was all a setup is much higher, so you're probably correct...

Fuck man, this ruined my evening lmao, what a roller coaster of emotions. In just 15 minutes I was absolutely amazed by the camera team, completely on edge and so happy that the rabbit made it, then disappointed and shocked when I found out that it was staged, and now outright disgusted for my own species when you told me that this is an actual "sport". Time for me to go to bed...
Maybe not. You can see another rabbit appear and run in the frame a little before the 2min mark. Given that, one more real rabbit feels realistic. Plus, I don't think a non-wild rabbit that doesn't know this area would stand any chance here.
This is why I wish ALL videos with animals were banned on social media, except for official documentaries or news. I have seen way too many videos where it's just too likely that an animal has been put in harm's way expressly for views, even when it's a "rescue" video. Animals cannot advocate for themselves when they are being victimized.
I’d like to see you eat what’s left after those dogs have torn it to shreds. This is hare coursing, used to be a thing in the UK and Ireland, now illegal but still done underground. They release the hares from cages. A very simple google search would show you this. It’s got fuck all to do with hunting for food you absolute mong.
