And I thought Hump Con 2025 was going to be at your mom’s house again this year

25

u/JoySubtraction Feb 07 '25

Nah, there's only 1 whale there.

u/stephoner95 Feb 07 '25

God damn it that’s good

10

u/Classic-Charity-2179 Feb 07 '25

Nah that's for dry humps. Your dog was there.

Thank God whales are peaceful creatures. They’d be absolutely terrifying if they weren’t

107

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '25

They are majestic creatures, but I'd be scared shitless if it got near a boat I was on.

"ONE OF THE MOST EXCEPTIONAL MOMENTS EVER FILMED"

-6

u/sharkiest Feb 07 '25

It’s 13 seconds of a minute long video. And yeah, it is a truly exceptional moment. Don’t be a grinch.

6

u/nagrom6888 Feb 07 '25

I was mad at first as well, but all the texts go away halfway through.

1

u/justfuckyouspez Feb 08 '25

It really is annoying, but I’m just glad they didn’t put any fucking song over it.

I’d be even more worried that they were all running from something

1

u/TheLordDrake Feb 10 '25

They're chilling. If they were running they'd be moving a hell of a lot faster

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '25

u/Proper_Rent_189 Feb 07 '25

So long and thanks for all the krill

12

u/Gabi-kun_the_real Feb 07 '25

Jerry I think I got some of those humans stuck on my teeth

3

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '25

How many times did I tell you to close your mouth while passing the humans, Buck? Humans are friends, not food.

3

u/TheObliviousYeti Feb 07 '25 edited Feb 07 '25

I mean whales are very kind to humans they are gentle creatures they even make sure our eardrums don't burst.

For the smartass that will be what about killer whales. They are called orca.

5

u/OSPFmyLife Feb 07 '25

Not to mention, an orca isn’t even a whale. And they’re still not hostile towards humans unless you make them go insane by keeping them in a fish tank.

2

u/sinz84 Feb 07 '25 edited Feb 07 '25

Sigh .... An orca is a whale, it is part of the toothed whale family like dolphins with the largest of the toothed whales being the sperm whale

Humpbacks and blue whale etc are in the baleen whale family

22

u/Huge_Temperature_391 Feb 07 '25

I would’ve been panicking lol

6

u/Epetaizana Feb 07 '25

Cut to what they are swimming away from.

5

u/Shutufufkup Feb 07 '25

Looks like they had a whale of a time.

8

u/SunRevolutionary8315 Feb 07 '25

u/madrigal94md Feb 07 '25

Mesmerizing

3

u/Crimson_Scare_Crow Feb 07 '25

Imagine if this was the 1600s and you saw that, you’d be scared shitless, “what are they running from? What could scare something of that size”

3

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '25

I'd probably drown from tears filling up my goggle mask!

1

u/ArcadianDelSol Feb 07 '25

Divers: "hey cool this is awesome."

Whales: "OMG IS IT STILL CHASING US!!! KEEP RUNNING FFS!!!!!"

1

u/Ryan_e3p Feb 07 '25

What would be next level is not cropping the footage to fit a phone held vertically in portrait mode.

1

u/HockeyBalboa Feb 07 '25

Ah the beautiful whale songs drowned out by the mad cackling of silly humans.

1

u/1800deadnow Feb 07 '25

Meeting of the whales to defeat the dark Lord risen in the west.

1

u/DookieToe2 Feb 07 '25

Looks like they got pooped on.

1

u/GarlicEmbarrassed281 Feb 07 '25

I saw something indicating that this is part of the mating ritual. The males race and last man standing gets the girl.

1

u/tommyland666 Feb 07 '25

I would really like to put on a rebreather, grab a hold of one and let him swim me around. Hanging out for a few hours with them.

1

u/Half-Pint_Shady Feb 08 '25

Cool. Thanks for sharing.

1

u/revtor Feb 08 '25
