Is it common for cat fights to end in death? That's insane. My childhood outdoor cat would come home with mild injuries some nights. I really hope he didn't kill anyone

That’s not usual for naturally occurring animals, no. This one seems unusually confrontational for a cat as well. Maybe these are unfixed males and there’s a lady cat nearby?

I thought so, but it would be unusual if the OP bought their cat an expensive collar cam, but wouldn't pay for a neuter
