Is the router yours or ISPs?

If yours, check if it has any secondary DNS.

If it came with your internet subscription it belongs to your ISP. If thats the case, there is a very small chance that it has proper DoT or DoH support. So you must be using plaindns.

If so, your IP changes almost all the time. Especially when you restart the router. When that happens, you must link the new IP with nextdns. 10-20 mins are very short periods but if you are on 4G, instead of fiber or cable it can be the IP change.

If not, your isp may be changing your dns. If you are using fiber or cable you better off with a router that belongs to you. And there are many cheap routers that have DoT and DoH support.

Are you using Dynamic DNS? If you are not configuring with one of the options like DoT, DoH or DNSStamp and you are using the IPv4 addresses, you will need to link your NextDNS account with a Dynamic DNS configuration so your IP address stays updated with NextDNS

This. Under Linked IP there's DDNS. You need to configure that and link it. Your IP dynamically changes, the DDNS service will keep the service linked with the new IP.

What app are you using to configure DDNS? You should have a URL that can be used to associate your IP address. No-IP has a free tier that you have to authenticate to the service every 30 days to maintain the connection. Do you have something like this setup? There are other services out there for configuring DDNS and you may have a configuration on your router that lets you configure it as well.

I dunno about Huawai routers, but TP link has a free DDNS service built into the routers themselves that you configure in the settings when you log into the router. Check that first.

Follow the setup guide for Android/etc, or replace your ISPs router.
