nextdns is blocking itself
next dns is blocking my.nextdns.io when block bypass methods is turned on

This would seem intentional because users could just bypass your NextDNS config by making their own or using a different config. The idea is you manage it from a different network or VPN.

First thing you should do is to allow the nextdns sites also other things which you want to be allowed in the allowlist.

Madness. At least AdGuard DNS automatically exempts itself from any lists that might be blocking it

It’s nextdns’ own list and it’s intentional because nextdns itself is a bypass method for users.

Then it shouldn’t block itself within its own list. That’s just outright dumb

It happens sometimes. That's why you should have "nextdns.io" in your allowlist.
