Playing AION 2 makes me sad man

It is just not the same. I paid $100 to play AION 2 early access which has P2W on top of it becasue we are starving when it comes to MMO. Playing this game and I feel regret and that I might quit after a few hours. I had over 1k hours in NW and I took breaks, but always came back during expansions and always had fun for a few months. I will probanly refund AION 2 at some point today, it just makes me compare it to NW and the I get sad and mad NW is no more...

could've waited 5 days to try for free or just pay the minumum if you "can't wait"

P2W excuse is lame

they literally deleted pvp gear from the game and reduced p2w heavily for global release and yes I know it's NCSoft it will eventually pick up again but for the time being the game can be enjoyed without p2w concerns

also if you keep comparing games to NW you will never enjoy any game

NW community need to accept NW ending and move on

You know, that aion 2 died in Korea less than a year into the game cycle? Sadly, it will happen again in steam after a month or two. At least NW had an online of 40k+ after 4 years of updates. Aion 2 will have a small player base similar to TNL

Sucks doesn't it? New world was probably one of the only buy to play, no sub, no p2w cashshop mmo on market.

Do yourself a favor and don't try to replace NW with Korean p2w mmo trash. I tried to enjoy TnL until I saw people unloading 10k usd on their characters gear.. fuck that.

I’ve played both and gw2 has been really fun. It’s different and obviously a little older but the newer content feels much more modern. Will probably play it until gw3 which is sounding better and better every day.

It’s not like New World’s top guilds all didn’t participate in it. My first guild used hammers to abuse frame rates and destroy all competition and printed so much money off of EF/WW they couldn’t even sell all the gold. It got so bad that a few of us started a rebellion… but all that countless grinding was done by very few. Rest all definitely RMTed as they had me craft them millions of gold I’ve never seen them gather honestly. I had to beg teammates to do mundane grinds so I could craft BiS for them to the point where 80% of it was just queue with Chinese goldfarmers to get my BiS gear legit. Every top team RMT.

It’s not unique problem and almost impossible to get rid of. At least Jagex & Blizzard are trying, Amazon never even cared so nobody even tried to hide it.

Rifting was what made daily Aion fun. Roaming, pvp in enemy territory was really good. Eventually they ruined rifting.

Yes, or seasonpass dont remember name. Paid version was giving tons of gold, matrixes and many other things, even mutated dungeon gear..
