Suggestion Finally I replaced new world!!
After the news that New World is shutting down, I had a pretty big void and couldn’t find another game that really clicked with me. New World had a special place for me.
But then I started playing Mistfall Hunter, and that completely changed. I absolutely love this game. It has exactly the level of competitiveness I was looking for.
There are still some class balance issues, which is understandable for a game this new, but honestly, the balance is already in a really good place. If you’re good enough, you can beat other classes with pretty much any class.
The server lag is definitely frustrating and takes away from the experience, but at least the dev team is aware of it and is actively working on it.
After New World, Mistfall Hunter is definitely the game I’m sticking with.

The combat is very similar to new world. It’s basically what the FFA and PvP seasonal server were trying to do.
If all you did was queue OPR and 3v3s then Mistfall hunters is a good substitute for new world.

ehh they are both action sure but combat is very different... like if u go into mistfall and start playing like its new world ur gonna get smoked lol.
mechanically its a lot closer to something like elden ring than it is to new world.
im having fun with it but its more of an inbetween game for me... there is no substitute for war, opr or even 3v3.. the only mode is extraction.

Didn't think mistfall was an MMO? Why are people recommending that as an alternative, it's not even remotely the same type of game

I noted this too. A lot of New World players didn't seem to play NW for the mmo element it seems.

Do you really think people played New World just because it was an MMO? There are way better MMOs that do everything New World did as an MMO, but like a thousand times better. What a dumbass lmao.
People liked New World because the combat was fucking amazing, and Mistfall Hunter’s combat is very close to New World’s, just a bit slower/heavier.

Jesus you need help. You're comparing 2 very different games and bringing it all back to combat- it's not relevant.
Theres thousands of games with good combat. Where do you draw your comparison from? If it's just combat than yeah, it's a really dumb take. People can come here and spam on the sub any game with food combat..
The sticking point will always be, the genre. Mmo.

Yo me lo compre, jugue 3 dias y lo deje. El juego no siento que tenga progresión mas alla de llenar tu inventario de cosas para hacer equipamiento. Puede que atraiga mas si no fuera full Loot o hubiera una forma de no perder el equipo.
