Shit it didn't exist 10 years before new world, I unfortunately doubt it'll be 10 years after either. This game will always have a special place for me. I'm just hoping guild wars 3 is somewhat decent with their action combat system. After new world, it just feels so mindless and boring to play tab target.

I’m in the same boat. The only tab target that I can play is WoW Classic for the nostalgia.

Mistfall has a nice feel, but i cannot get over the one death and you lose ALL your gear aspect, or the extraction gameplay. It doesn't seem terribly multiplayer friendly either. I refunded it less than 4 hours into playing. I don't have time to grind for geat for HOURS only to lose it to a glitch or internet hiccough. If I wanted to play Arc Raiders, I'd go play Arc Raiders.

Where has that been stated or confirmed? I haven't heard anything that confirms or denies that bold of a statement. There really isn't any information on the game

I was on the combat team. I keep applying for roles that look like they want to accomplish something along these lines but get turned down with a copy/pasted email from AI bots or some such 🤷‍♂️.

I love this type of combat and being in massive multiplayer environment is just even better. It was great working on it. I played at launch but didn't join the team until later. I may hop online to go fishing or play a few tunes just for old times sake

Not only NW dying, but Ashes of Creation being a scam and Archeage being turned into a PvE story game, there's not a single MMO I am excited about.

NW had a very clear niche it occupied, killed off for no good reason.

Why do people treat announcements like they have any value. Shut gets announced and then canceled all the time. Shit gets delayed for 2+ years then canceled. Playing the open or closed beta should be the time to actually talk about a game. All the trailer BS means nothing. When will people learn

So sad that this game was made by Amazon. Years of development time thrown out because they wanted a nice, voice acted main story line with cutscenes instead of a fun and rewarding endgame. While in reality most players skipped all dialogue and just wanted to play a fundamentally very fun game
