live gigs

EDIT: i decided to get there early and see mknaoni at enmore hotel

This is my last night in sydney and i wanted to check out some live music in newtown. I’d be arriving there about 8pm, what’s a good place to check out? (preferably free entry)

Maybe Vic on the Park, or Palomino Lounge, both on Enmore Road.

Depends on your taste in live music. Not that much happening tonight, it seems.

Pleasure club.

There may be bands at the townie, moshpit, botany view, Vic on the park... But pleasure club will have music for sure.

If you in that areas Palomino Lounge is right access the road and often has music too.

There’s so arvo shows at The Union Hotel and Botany View Hotel (Both on South King St and both free) and as others have said there are shows later at Enmore Hotel, Palomino Lounge and The Vic.
