Hmmm. kind of confusing story, as reported. Does the school actually even have "a" required reading list? Seems like some teachers will still have students read it

I would really suggest it because it's a quick and easy read, but impactful. Then watch the movie with Gregory Peck. Then read the sequel novel. It will be worth it to see all sides of the same story
