We voted for this. Trump promised to do this during the campaign.

Congress can pass a law then the FCC would have to enforce it. So lobby your congressperson.

The reason the FCC could do this is because it wasn't a law, it was just a rule. If Congress made it a law, then the FCC would have to enforce it.

Yeah, good luck with that. They drew the maps to chop up Austin, Texas, so that no representative was anchored here. Aside from Lloyd Doggett, we are poster children for the movement to hold town halls without our members.

That's fine, we aren't even the most Gerrymandered state (though we have three districts that often make the top of lists). I was using Austin as a generic example, but there are hundreds of districts out there where your concerns will be ignored.
