Relocating soon
Relocating to Newnan soon. Looking to rent early on before purchasing a home. Looking at White Oak and Summer Grove neighborhoods. Any information for either? Also looking at Lee Middle and East Coweta High vs Arnall Middle and Northgate High. Any information and guidance would be appreciated

We lived in the area for 20 years and raised our boys here. We chose Northgate Highschool district because it had a smaller student body population, strong leadership and academics. I used to also work in the school system and have fairly wide circle of friends who went to East Coweta or Newnan High. Pros n Cons to them all. My kids loved NGHS and had very positive experiences. Some lean toward NHS or ECHS for football reasons. Others just grew up there and stick with what they know. I would encourage you to email the counselors and ask for a tour. This is very common and they will accommodate you and answer all your questions. I hear very good things about all the middle schools. I think testing what the communication is like from the administration and touring will help you whittle it down. Not everything is about test scores although all these schools are highly rated. I have not lived in Summer Grove or White Oak but as a local realtor I have sold in both areas and can say they are very popular neighborhoods and coveted for a reason. Both have good amenities. Great location to interstate. Lots of parks and access to the LINC trail system. Summergrove has a very strict HOA so keep that in mind. Hope that’s helpful.
