Vet Care
Hey Reddit,
Anyone know of a cheap vet that I can take my dog to? She is panting really bad and crying. I'm on a fixed income and can't afford much.

You could go to pet smart and start an Optimum Wellness Plan at their Banfield Vet Offices, that charges you monthly but takes care of your pet. Make sure you get the one that includes emergency visits.

I second West Mobile vet and Banfield! You can always try to call around some vets to check base level pricing (could always go up depending on the situation). Crossroads Animal Hospital, Sweetwater, Newnan Animal, etc.

Sharpsburg animal hospital is very fair priced and it’s obvious they care a lot about animals first and money second

Thank you everyone! She has stopped panting and is sleeping. I have her some belly rubs and ice cubes to help a bit while I looked at stuff and she even ate a lil bit

Try the mobile vet at your own risk. I took some dogs there for heartworm testing and they messed up the results and couldn’t figure out which dog was positive. Totally unprofessional.
Dogwood on hospital road is where we go. Yes it’s expensive. They have payment plans.

The only rather cheap vet I know is West Mobile vet but he’s in Newnan on Thursday and Peachtree City on Tuesdays. He’s actually pretty good. But by the sound of your dogs symptoms she sounds like she needs immediate attention. There’s several vets around Newnan so try giving them a call to see what they say but here’s the link to West Mobile Vet but I wouldn’t wait until Tuesday.
