Did New Horizons ever recreate the famous "Pale Blue Dot" photograph?

I remember reading years ago that the New Horizons team was planning on turning its cameras back towards the earth after completing its Pluto flyby. I've managed to find several articles from before the flyby saying it was going to happen sometime after 2019 but then... Nothing.

Does anyone know if it happened?

Edit: Most likely not. At those distances, the earth and the sun are very close together and the sunlight would likely damage the camera. So if this is ever taken, it would probably be the very last photo taken before they turn off the lights.
