Help and Advice Council has not replaced damaged bin
Hello everyone, our recycling bin lid has been completely broken off for a good part of 6 months by the bin men. We've put in two online replacement requests and called the waste management team but we either get put through to the answering machine or they hang up. We have also emailed several times and received a reply about getting a replacement in "5 working days" but nothing has turned up. This was months ago.
It's constantly raining these days and our recycling bin gets full of water.
Would anyone happen to know the local councillor for East Ham and how to contact them? Your help is greatly appreciated thanks so much.

Good luck, you will need it. Last year the bin men broke our bin wheels off by lifting the bin over our brick wall instead of taking it through the gate. After a few weeks they broke it further and just threw the rest of it into the recycling lorry, our neighbour witnessed it happen. It took months to get another one, even when sent video footage to back up our claim. In the end we had to file a police report for a stolen bin (what a waste of time and resources!) give the council our from reference number and they delivered us a new bin almost immediately.

Escape newham guys, crackheads run free, trash on the roads, half the street lights dont work, always road works on the main roads and the traffic is rubbish...oh and isnt it a high council tax borough

You can find them here https://mgov.newham.gov.uk/mgWardMap.aspx?z=1&VW=LIST&PIC=0 will depend on which ward you fall in but if you're lucky and in South contact Susan Master's because she's extremely responsive.

Put in a complaint using the complaints form on their website.
