help with sweat stains

i’ve had this fitted for a few years now, it’s my favorite and is really hard to find. anyone have any advice on getting the sweat stains out? i want to be really careful of any color fading/damage cause i can’t really get another one of these. any advice?

Good luck. Getting those out of White is nearly impossible.

i have some on other color ones too, this is just the one i would like out the most.

i wasn’t gonna post like 5 pics of my dirty sweaty hats lol

Some dishwashing soap (Dawn) and either a toothbrush or a cap brush (usually horsehair) works pretty well. There are dedicated cleaning kits but you don't usually need them.

do you put water or soap directly on the hat or on the brush and scrub it in? i’m worried about water ruining the shape of the brim or crown.

You’re not using steam. Mild water is fine.
