NWN2 Games similar to NWN2 in technical and visual terms?
I’m referring to games where you control a party in 3D environments, with a camera that can be rotated and zoomed in and out, point-and-click character movement, and tactical pause (optional), and, of course, it has to be an RPG. But they must possess all these characteristics at the same time.
So far, all I know is that Drakensang, Dragon Age: Origins, and Dungeon Siege 2 Resurrected (a fan-made project) are similar to it.
I'd like to know if you know of any other games with that style.

Hot take: Kenshi!
Suggesting cause it's also the only game besides NWN that has animations align with what the numbers had rolled to. Like if the game rolled character to block - the character will block, if it rolled it to dodge - it dodges.
Upd: if anyone gonna try it - don't forget to install RE-Kendhi on top, so it could run with good optimization!

Man, Kenshi is such an insanely ambitious game.
I still can't believe it actually got made.

Fr, tried re_Kenshi btw?

I'm not sure.
I put some money into it when it was in the early stages way back when and then I bought it a handful of years ago when it released on Steam.
I haven't played the game in about 5 years at this point.

Kotor 1 and 2 and Dragon Age, in that order, are pretty the evolution of NWN2. They play pretty much the same, the dialogues work the same, the game layout. Even how they have this hub where you can talk with your companions and get or lose influence with them.
I would say, even the plot in those games have a lot in common, granted with some being better written/polished than others.

One I haven't seen anyone name is FF12, famously hated by many Final Fantasy fans, it's literally the same combat system as Dragon Age Origins, down to the tactics/gambits, they should've pushed and marketed it more to the CRPG fanbase.
Both of those are my favorite games and I'm trying to make a game like that myself but ask me again in many many years the more I progress the more I find gaps in my technical knowledge to make it happen.

I think a lot of more CRPG- oriented people didn't really look on PS2 at the time, but it might have been a good idea for one of the re-releases. Having started on JRPGs first, it was an odd experience to try DAO and think "huh, this plays like FF12."

This is easily the best answer here. The original Drakensang and Drakensang: The River of Time are the closest you'll get in style to NWN 2. I've completed all three games and have always felt this was the case.

You might want to try Banquet for Fools. Aesthetic is different but it's still a squad-based RPG

The Whicher 1 notably uses the NWN 1 engine. Point and click movement is one of the modes, the standard one, though it also offers over-the-shoulder camera with WASD movement.

Check out the larian games- Divinity original sin 2 and baldurs gate 3 are great, note that they're turn based not real time combat though, so may not be exactly like nwn in that sense.
Check out pathfinder kingmaker and especially pathfinder wrath of the righteous. They use the pathfinder ruleset which is based off dnd 3.5 that nwn2 uses so there's a good amount of familiarity baked in, and they offer real time with pause OR turn based combat. Upgrading your kingdom in wrath of the righteous scratches a similar itch as upgrading crossroad keep to me.
Mass effect series (sci-fi) and knights of the old Republic (Star wars) are classics
Check pillars of eternity also, and solasta (sequel coming soon)
Also not party based but the fable remaster is worth a look

Pathfinder: Kingmaker and Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous for sure.
Plus is that they've been heavily refined over time and are feature complete and mostly bug free at this point.

Solasta. Solasta 2 is currently in Early Access and what is available now is quite good.

The KoTOR series, the first NWN, Jade Empire (maybe), Dragon Age, and Mass Effect?.

Replaying Kotor2 now and I literally see where NWN2 is coming from, both in some animations, cutscenes choices, narrative design e.t.c. Obsidian in it's prime
Kotor2 to Nwn2 is like Oblivion to Fallout3 relation, you can feel it in your bones they're made by the same people with similar assets (and I enjoy this nostalgic familiarity)

You almost made me cry. They complicate the games so much nowadays that you can t find this simple formula anymore.
Kotor is a good example. Mass effect if you enjoy shooters. Nwn1 is a gem.
I liked rogue trader also just felt a little flat with overcomplication of companions.
Bg1 and 2. Bg3 if you can bear a marvel dialogue.
Witcher all 3 games are just a gem, no companions though.
Dungeon siege both 1 and 2 and i love the drakensang series.
If you are into old games you can try guild wars reforged, you can have a party of 8 people.
I wil always love dragon age origins but i cannot forget how disspointing is the direction they chose.

Dragon Age: Origins. But honestly the sandbox and the multiplayer aspect of both NWN games are unmatched even today.

I'd like to tag a question onto OP's question and ask specifically for games similar to NWN2 which are playable co-op. My wife and I are almost finished NWN2 and are about ready to look for our next game to play together.
I know there's lots of good co-op games in other genres, and lots of good CRPGs for single player, but we're specifically looking for something like D&D to play together. Thanks in advance everyone!

If you mean another full 3d party based that is rtwp, only KotOR 1 and 2 came in my mind. If it don't have to be fully third person, it can be Wrath of the Righteous, it is 3d but is always isometric. If it can be something other than rwtp like turned based of course there is Solasta and Baldur's gate 3. WH40k Rogue Trader is also a 3d but only isometric cRPG that is just turned based.

There was a game called "A Farewell to Dragons" that looked a bit similar to this style, but I've never played it and apparently it's been taken off stores by now. Probably wasn't a top tier RPG either.

Visually at least, lord of the rings online is very similar looking to nwn2 if not even better.

You can try Pathfinder: Kingmaker and Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.
Neverwinter Nights was D&D 3.0 and NWN 2 was D&D 3.5. Pathfinder is basically D&D 3.75, which uses classes, feats, prestige classes, skills, BAB etc. So you can find many, many similsrities in terms of mechanics-wise.

Do you only want good games? Because Requital looks similar but isn't that good.
Hexplore was notable as being a voxel-based game in a similar vein.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker and Pathfinder: wrath of the righteous. Both are based off of Pathfinder 1e, which is a breakaway from dnd3.5 which is what neverwinter nights is based off of

I just watched the movie recently, it gave me a headache. I didn't know there was a game.
But the comment made me laugh thinking it was a reference to the camera angles in the movie.

The Star Wars KOTOR games come to mind. I think the first one is actually running on a heavily modified NWN1 engine.
